I finally found a Church home.
The choir sings Praise and Worship reminiscent of the 80s and 90s. The
Pastor/Teacher preaches the Scripture with understanding and just what it says (exegesis).
The Associate Pastor is a Theologian/Pastor. I appreciate the both of them. It is like being
in Bible College again.
It took moving from California to the Bible Belt of Mississippi through no choice of my own. It took 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of a whale (Greyhound Bus). For the 3rd time I lost everything, and by the time I reached Mississippi , my one piece of luggage was also lost. (Okay. I preached Jonah before I left and after I arrived. Man, I looked a mess.
All I managed to escape with
was the sweat suit and my shoes with a hole in the bottom I was wearing. In my
back pack, I had mini laptop, and a 1 Terabyte external hard drive that
contains all my writings since I graduated from Bible College .
The LORD Christ Jesus wants me to keep spreading His word even through this
blog.
The Bible College
I graduated from said I have a public ministry like Jesus Christ. I did not say
anything but they could read the shock on my face. Jesus had to flee the
religious community often for His life! He feed the 5,000 but how many people did
Jesus visit when He resurrected? He visited only 500 in total. The 12 Apostles
were not there on third day when He rose.
I feel more comfortable ministering
on the street. There is no one to jockey with me for a position or title. Some know
who I am.
